Spring Internship
Location/Mode: Hybrid (Atlanta-based) with remote work as needed
Time Commitment: 10–15 hours/week (flexible around class schedule)
Start Date: January 2026 (aligned with Spring semester)
Brief Description
P. Sherrod & Co. is an Atlanta-based luxury leather handbag and accessories brand rooted in “quiet luxury” style—timeless, polished pieces for professional, fashion-forward women. The brand blends fashion, storytelling, community, and elevated customer experience across ecommerce, events, and retail partnerships.
This internship is designed for a student who wants real-world experience in a modern accessories brand —from content and campaigns to customer experience and brand operations. Interns will support projects that directly impact the brand’s growth and day-to-day execution. You’ll work closely with the Founder/Designer and gain hands-on exposure to fashion marketing, brand building, and behind-the-scenes operations.
Internship Focus Areas:
1) Marketing + Social Media
• Assist with content planning (Reels/Stories/Posts) aligned to brand voice
• Support launch campaigns (product drops, seasonal promos, events)
• Create captions, hashtag sets, and community engagement prompts
• Help organize photo/video assets and maintain a content calendar
2) PR + Brand Partnerships
• Research media, influencer, and brand partnership opportunities
• Support outreach drafts (press notes, collaboration emails, follow-ups)
• Assist with event/community marketing and partnership coordination
• Track outreach, responses, and relationship notes
3) Ecommerce + Website Support
• Assist with Shopify product listings (titles, descriptions, tags, collections)
• Basic site updates (banners, featured collections, home page refreshes)
• Support email marketing preparation (drafts, segmentation notes, proofing)
4) Fashion/Business Ops
• Help with simple reporting (inventory notes, promo tracking, admin support)
• Support next season designs
Skills & Qualifications Needed
• Fashion merchandising, marketing, communications, PR, or related major
• Strong writing skills and a sharp eye for style and brand consistency
• Reliable, professional communication and ability to meet deadlines
• Organized, self-motivated, takes initiative, and open to feedback
• Comfortable with social platforms (especially Instagram)
• Bonus (not required): Canva, Shopify, Google Workspace, photo/video editing
Internship Mode Details
Hybrid: Atlanta-based students preferred for occasional in-person needs (events, pop-ups, content days). Remote work is available for the majority of weekly tasks.
